We have been working closely with Microsoft during the development and testing phases of the Interoperable tools, Windows Services for UNIX. Being a tier one partner in this program, The Boston Group has proved its strength in setting up Services for UNIX in large enterprise environments and providing the UNIX applications porting services.

At The Boston Group, we have been using Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX for our internal network management. We have integrated disparate platforms and given our developers the choice of platforms on which to develop and test their application. We have successfully ported millions of lines of UNIX code to the Interix platform and are able to demonstrate these applications on Windows 2000 servers. Some of the popular open source code we have ported include:
Apache Web Server, Tomcat Server, Intralearn, Several X11 Graphics Utilities etc.
